This started as a prayer for myself during one of the hardest periods of my life. At the time, I couldn't remember why I was on the path I had chosen, nor did I want to continue when I could imagine a life of blissful ignorance. This was written to remind me of why I had chosen it. It came to me in a fit of inspiration during one of my most painful moments.
When Coralyn was born, I realized that it was no longer for me, that it was a prayer for her on her journey of life.

may you not forget the music or the meaning of this song.

May the light that guides your way
